Document Finder Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 13th, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Your App of the Day ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the All-in-One Document Viewer mobile app (the "App").
1. Overview
The App is designed to work fully offline. Documents you add (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text files, etc.) are stored only in the App's private storage on your own device. We do not operate a server that receives, stores, or has access to your documents, and the App has no upload or file-sharing feature that sends your files anywhere.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or the contents of your documents. We do not run analytics that tracks how you use the App's document-viewing features.
3. Information Processed by Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, which process limited data as described below:
3.1 Advertising — Google AdMob
Free-plan users are shown ads served by Google's AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). AdMob may collect device and advertising identifiers (such as your device's advertising ID) to serve and measure ads. The App requests non-personalized ads from AdMob. See Google's own Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and AdMob's data disclosure for details on what Google collects and how it's used.
3.2 Subscriptions & Purchases — RevenueCat, Apple, Google
If you subscribe to the paid ("Pro") plan, the purchase is processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play — we never see your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to verify your purchase receipt and determine whether your subscription is active. This involves sharing a device/account identifier and purchase/subscription status (not payment details) with RevenueCat. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
4. Permissions We Request
- File access (document picker, and on Android, optional "All files access") — used only to let you choose files to add to the App or to find document files already on your device. We only read files you explicitly add; we don't scan or transmit files off-device.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Documents you add stay on your device until you delete them in the App or uninstall it. Subscription status is retained by Apple/Google/RevenueCat per their own retention policies, independent of the App.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Your Rights (EU/EEA, UK, and other regions with similar laws)
Because documents never leave your device, there is generally nothing for us to access, export, or delete on your behalf. For data processed by AdMob or RevenueCat on their own servers, you can exercise your rights (access, deletion, objection) directly with Google or by contacting us and we'll pass the request to RevenueCat.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
